Alan,
I can't tell you how much I'm enjoying your book. Such exciting chapters to read... I'm on chapter 3 (no, not a slow reader, just busy). One of your captions reads: 'Watch for all of North and South America to form a single political and economic area'...
Back in the early 70s a very worldly wise news editor predicted that the world would eventually split into three political and economic blocs: the Americas, Europe (including the Eastern nations), and the Orient, Australia and New Zealand...
He didn't go on to say that there would be a one world government. However, even in the late 70s, early 80s I remember we used to talk about the global village and, being on the international circuit myself, I know that it's really easy to spot the frequent global traveller when you're one yourself. Some of us do live in the global village and have done for some time. It is a reality.
Your book really confirms everything that I've been thinking (but no-one else has affirmed), for years. It's really a terrific feeling!
