I have come across your paper, and was impressed by the way you dealt with issues which much of the media seems to avoid, especially concerning Islam. In a future edition of your paper, I wonder if you might speak about the denial of freedom to all Muslims to convert to Christianity.
In many Muslim countries it is illegal. and the penalty is death. If the court does not pronounce such sentence, then "family honour" means that the family themselves do the execution. Muslim countries sign up to the UN Declaration of Human Rights, but deny such freedom to their own citizens.
In the new constitution of Iraq it will be illegal for any Muslim to convert to Christianity.
Then there is the non-reporting of the hundreds of Christians killed each day by Muslims - see material from "Barnabas Fund". Where are the stories of the thousands killed in the Sulawayo area of Indonesia or Northern Nigeria?
Where are the newspaper pictures of the bus-load of Sunday School children burned alive by a Muslim crowd in N. Nigeria. Are we afraid to confront UK Muslims with the truth about Islam in action abroad? Of course, there are many decent Muslims, but they seem to have little clout against the extremist minority.
Anyway, more power to your elbow. Also, congratulations to your daughter and her new husband. May they have a fulfilling marriage in the land of Israel, despite being mis-represented and mis-understood by much of the world. But God's Kingdom WILL come. Amen.
Sincerely,
Jack Eyers, Aldershot.
