Obama is at the rotten, corrupt heart of all that has gone wrong with America lately- even the facts we know are damming enough. Just think what a proper investigation would reveal! "RICO ACORN, right now. Seize all their assets. Seize the assets of their many hundreds of subsidiaries. Seize the assets of Wade Rathke, his thief brother, and all the top executives. Let them squeal and squirm for a little bit trying to figure out how they will support their lavish, parasite lifestyles without income, and then start asking the real questions."

Simply put, prohibiting ACORN from funding what some have called a "criminal enterprise" with your tax dollars is not going to stop ACORN.
Simpson again:
"Earlier this summer Congressman Issa (R CA), minority ranking member of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, commissioned a report on ACORN. Completely overlooked by Democrats and the mass media -- no surprise there -- this report chronicled ACORN's legacy of criminal activity."
"Appendix 2 of the report analyzes the viability of criminally prosecuting ACORN as a continuing criminal enterprise under the Racketeer Influenced, Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO). It concluded that ACORN does indeed qualify as a candidate for prosecution under these statutes. This law authorizes authorities to seize all the assets of any organization deemed a RICO before it prosecutes anyone."
And Simpson confirms that "federal prosecutors obtained a conviction against Drexel Burnham Lambert Junk Bond magnate, Michael Milken, on much flimsier evidence."
And the evidence against ACORN is not flimsy. Simpson yet again:
"An in-depth investigation of ACORN assisted by the power of the RICO statutes... would likely produce evidence of rampant corruption both within the Obama administration as well as the Democratic Party at large. There has been a symbiotic relationship between ACORN and the left wing of the Democrat Party for decades at this point and a particularly close relationship between Obama and ACORN."
If we really want to stop ACORN... if we really want to stop craft and corruption that possibly goes all the way to the highest levels of our government... RICO ACORN.

Taking out ACORN (The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) should be Barack Hussein Obama's Waterloo.
That's because, when it comes to ACORN, all roads lead back to Barack Hussein Obama.
To put it in the words of pro-life activist Jill Stanek: "I'm confident the ACORN scandal will lead to the White House...."
But as things now stand, that won't happen because Republicans in Congress are refusing to adequately pursue the matter.
If you've watched FOX News in the past several days, you've more than likely seen the shocking videotapes of ACORN employees in a number of states offering to help two young people posing as a prostitute and a pimp obtain funding for a brothel and evade paying taxes on what would be income obtained from the commission of illegal acts.
And you were probably sickened when you saw that it didn't even matter to an ACORN representative that the brothel in question would be used to exploit 13 year-old illegal alien minor girls.
Of course, those videos confirm what so many right-minded Americans have known for a long time. ACORN is not simply a badly managed organization that, through no fault of its own , allows rogue employees and volunteers to engage in an occasional illegal act.
It's actually possible that ACORN is a national criminal organization (in fact, the evidence is becoming irrefutable with each passing day) that exerts a dangerous amount of influence over many of our elected representatives at the local and the national level and that influence could conceivable extend all the way to the White House.
Back in 1950, our elected officials convened the Kefauver Commission to expose and fight organized crime in this country.
These days, Republican legislators can only muster up the back-bone to fecklessly suggest that we stop throwing a portion of your hard-earned tax dollars at ACORN and to politely ask Barack Obama to do the same.
That simply doesn't cut the mustard. That should have happened long ago. Is there at least one Republican out there who has the backbone and intestinal fortitude of an Estes Kefauver?
Of course, you'll likely hear a hallelujah chorus of conservative pundits pat these Republican legislators on the back. For what? Quite frankly, the capacity of some of these pundits and our conservative legislators in Congress to under react never ceases to amaze us.
This emerging scandal should be a slam dunk. Republicans should be calling for Congressional investigations... they should be finding out exactly how much of your tax dollars have gone to fund criminal activities... prostitution... extortion... pushing controlled substances... harboring illegal aliens... tax evasion... people should be frog-marched to jail....
And yes... politicians who have backed ACORN should be exposed as accessories after the fact to these potential criminal acts.
It's about time someone told these Republicans to get a spine and get with the program and, with your help, that's what we're going to do.

During the campaign, Team Obama and its allies in the liberal media continually tried to downplay Obama's connection to ACORN but the facts don't lie.
And moreover, the camera doesn't lie.
Prior to the election, we showed you a video from December of 2008. In this video, Obama promised ACORN and an entire coalition of left-wing community organizers that they'd have a seat at the table during his presidential administration.
Specifically Obama told this cheering throng; "We're gonna be calling all of you in to help us shape the agenda. We're gonna be having meetings all across the country."
And yet Obama had (and still has) the audacity to try to make the American people believe that he's not really connected to ACORN (Maybe that's why he titled his book "The Audacity of Hope").
On his so-called "Fight the Smears" website Obama pompously declared the following:
* Fact: Barack was never an ACORN community organizer.
* Fact: ACORN never hired Obama as a trainer, organizer, or any type of employee.
What Obama's "Fight the Smears" website didn't tell you is that:
1) Barack Hussein Obama's presidential campaign paid an ACORN affiliate organization more than 800,000 dollars to mount a get out the vote effort. Initially, according to Investors' Business Daily "his campaign failed to accurately report. (They were disguised in his FEC disclosure as payments to a front group called Citizen Services Inc. for 'advance work.')"
2) Obama did, in fact, represent ACORN in a legal action regarding an Illinois law addressing what has come to be known as motor-voter registration and Madeleine Talbot, the Chicago head of ACORN, invited Obama to help train her staff some years back.
According to Investor's Business Daily: "What's more, Obama worked as executive director of ACORN's voter-registration arm, Project Vote, in 1992. Joined by two other community organizers on Chicago's South Side, Obama conducted the voter-registration drive that helped elect Carol Moseley-Braun to the Senate that year. The next year, 1993, Obama joined the civil-rights law firm Davis Miner Barnhill & Galland, where he sued the state of Illinois on behalf of ACORN to implement the federal 'Motor Voter' law, which the GOP governor at the time refused to do. Then-Gov. Jim Edgar argued, presciently, that the Clinton law would invite voter fraud." |
And yes... most importantly, what Obama's "Fight the Smears" website and Obama's allies in the liberal media didn't tell you is that Obama promised ACORN and an entire coalition of hard-left community organizers that they will have a seat at the table when it comes to shaping the agenda in his administration.
The truth of the matter is that Obama is not just connected to ACORN. Obama is tightly allied with this far-left and potentially criminal enterprise.

Is it a valid comparison... ACORN and the Costa Nostra?
Perhaps the only difference is that ACORN makes the Mafia of old look like a group of pre-schoolers on a playground.
But don't take our word for it. Here's just a paragraph from the summary of a July 2009 US House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform report by Congressman Darrell Issa: "Is ACORN Intentionally Structured As a Criminal Enterprise?"
"The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now has repeatedly and deliberately engaged in systemic fraud. Both structurally and operationally, ACORN hides behind a paper wall of nonprofit corporate protections to conceal a criminal conspiracy on the part of its directors..."
And Issa's report goes on to state:
"Operationally, ACORN is a shell game played in 120 cities, 43 states and the District of Columbia through a complex structure designed to conceal illegal activities.... Structurally, ACORN is a chess game in which senior management is shielded from accountability by multiple layers of volunteers and compensated employees who serve as pawns to take the fall for every bad act."
And finally, Issa's report states:
"ACORN forged both formal and informal connections with former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich, Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown and President Barack Obama, among others. Each of these campaigns received financial and personnel resource contributions from ACORN and its affiliates as part of a scheme to use taxpayer monies to support a partisan political agenda. These actions are a clear violation of numerous tax and election laws. ... In other documents, ACORN affiliates take credit for the election of former-Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich. In the 2006 year-end report of ACORN affiliate Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Local 880, efforts to elect Blagojevich and advance partisan political agendas are called 'flawless.'"
And when it comes to voter fraud, the Mafia of old had nothing on ACORN.
Investor's Business Daily wrote; "The group's voter-registration fraud is rampant" and also stated: "In Nevada, state officials say the fraudulent registrations included forms for the starting lineup of the Dallas Cowboys football team, including quarterback Tony Romo.... Nevada, along with several other key battleground states, requires no ID to vote."
CNN's Drew Griffin reported: "ACORN's in trouble all across the country with its huge voter-registration drive. Actually, 1.3 million new voters registered according to ACORN. The problem is, are they really voters? Up in Lake County, Indiana, they're finding out they are not. Some 5,000 applications came in, all filled out by ACORN, and there they are. They went through the first 2,100 of them, every single one of them, fraudulent."
The New York Post reported: "Last July, ACORN settled the largest case of voter fraud in Washington state history. Seven ACORN workers had submitted nearly 2,000 bogus voter forms. According to case records, they flipped through phone books for names to use on the forms, including 'Leon Spinks,' 'Frekkie Magoal' and 'Fruto Boy Crispila.' Three ACORN election hoaxers pleaded guilty in October. A King County prosecutor called ACORN's criminal sabotage 'an act of vandalism upon the voter rolls.'"
Amanda Carpenter with TownHall.com wrote: "[Clarke County] Registrar of Voters Larry Lomax told the Las Vegas Review-Journal he believes ACORN has submitted somewhere between 2,000-3,000 fraudulent applications a week, some of which have included forms for the entire starting line-up of the Dallas Cowboys."
The Los Angeles Times: "A similar legal drama could play out in Colorado. Republicans there are charging that the Assn. of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) is loading up the voter rolls with unqualified people. Democrats are asking a federal court to reinstate approximately 30,000 Colorado voters purged from registration lists by Secretary of State Mike Coffman, a Republican."
And even the liberal New York Times reported: "In the year ending Sept. 30, election officials in Nevada, for example, used the Social Security database more than 740,000 times to check voter files or registration applications and found more than 715,000 nonmatches, federal records show. Election officials in Georgia ran more than 1.9 million checks on voter files or voter registration applications and found more than 260,000 nonmatches."
And the only protest that Republican leaders can muster is to finally stop giving some of your tax dollars to ACORN? That's too little... too late.

And did you know about ACORN's starring role in bringing about the current economic crisis... a crisis that came close to totally destroying the economy of the United States?
ACORN contributed to our present financial woes by strong-arming financial institutions into making dubious loans.
Stanly Kurtz of National Review says Madeleine Talbot "boasted of 'dragging banks kicking and screaming' into dubious loans."
Conservative columnist Mona Charon described ACORN as "the very people who would later descend on Chicago's banks as CRA shakedown artists."
Kurtz again: "How did we get into this financial mess in the first place? Well, to a large degree, it's because lenders gave mortgages to borrowers who were unqualified, who shouldn't have been given loans in the first place. Why did they do that.... Obama at the time had his hands on the purse strings of two organizations. He was a director of the Woods Fund, and he was Chairman of the Board of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge (CAC). He gave money from both organizations to ACORN, and also provided training for ACORN workers. ACORN succeeded in drawing Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac into the very policies that led to the current disaster. ACORN put pressure on banks by threatening them with accusations of racism if they didn't give loans to minorities, even if they were completely unqualified."
The result: disaster for everybody.
More than that, this left-wing scheme ruined Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, which in turn triggered the financial meltdown of the greatest nation in the world.
So ACORN played a large role in two of the greatest tragedies our nation has ever suffered: the election of Barack Hussein Obama and the recession we now endure - and the two tragedies are Siamese twins - joined together by ACORN.
It's time to demand that Republican leaders take a real stand.
