How Israel, God's chosen land, is helping its enemies

Israel, God's beloved nation and the only democracy in the Middle East, is proving its moral superiority to Islam by treating many Syrians who make it across the dangerous border.

So desperate are some of the Syrians that a woman actually in labor was left at the border fence to be rescued by Israeli paramedics and rushed to hospital in Israel.  One hospital has treated 177 frightened Syrians who found no help or mercy on their side of the fence.  So there are now 177 Syrian families who have now experienced kindness and care from Jewish doctors and nurses.

Even the usually pro-Palestinian, anti Israel BBC has put out an item about this.   Here is the link:

This is what we have always found in Israel.  The medical people do their jobs.  The hospitals there are full of Arabs being treated free - free to them, costly to the Israeli taxpayers.  Even terrorists have been rescued and saved in Israeli hospitals.  We know this for a fact.

In Israel you will find kindness and love, because the God of Israel is a God of kindness and love.

On the other hand is Allah, the god of Islam.  On our recent trip we heard of a sick Israeli soldier who happened to be in an Arab town, and called in at a clinic, hoping to get some medicine.  As soon as some of the men there realized that a Jew was waiting for treatment at the clinic, they ganged up on him and beat him up.

That says it all.   They fight, obeying their 'prophet' Muhammed, who commanded that Jews must be fought.  The Koran, the 'holy book of the muslim people', says in Sura 9:29 that muslims must 'fight the people of the Book' (Jews and Christians).

And in Sura 9:39, 'If you do not go out and fight, god (the Islamic god, Allah) will punish you severely...'  Allah must be so pleased with the cowards who beat up that sick Israeli soldier.

You never hear about the Arabs who live peaceably in Israel and are so glad to live in freedom, with the rule of law protecting them.  The Middle East is like night and day, with tiny Israel the only free nation where human rights are really respected and held up, the only nation where compassion and care are built in, because they are built into God's Book, the Bible.

Of course the ordinary Arabs have no choice.  There must be many who do not want to fight anybody, but just live in peace and get on with their lives.  No one knows how many fit this category.

This is not to say that all Jews are wonderful. They're not.  They're just people, and people all fall short.  We ALL need forgiveness of our sins.  We ALL need a Savior, and personally, I will never be able to thank the Lord Jesus Christ enough for being my Savior and forgiving my sins.

As for Arabs, we know some wonderful Arab people.  There does not have to be a terrible division.  In Christ we are all equal - neither Jew nor Greek (nor Arab nor African nor American nor British).  We become new people, born again, old things passed away.  Until this happens in your own life, it is not easy to understand; it is a mystery.  But it does happen when you repent (turn away from) your sins and accept Jesus as your Savior.  It happens, folks!  He makes you new, a new creature, born again of His Holy Spirit.

Now that the Jews are back in their land after 2000 years, the time is near for the Lord's return, and the Jews and Arabs and everyone else who loves Him and looks for Him will be rejoicing together.  The seemingly intractable problems now will disappear like the morning mist.

But what is the end of all this?  Actually, the Bible tells us!  One day Syria and Iraq (ancient Assyria) will be friends with Israel.  Egypt too.  It is written in Isaiah the prophet, and it will certainly come to pass. Chapter 19:23-25 says: 'In that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians shall serve with the Assyrians.   In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, even a blessing in the midst of the land:  whom the LORD of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance.'

That well trodden path to the Israeli hospital - could it be the beginning of God's highway?  Here is a link which shows that Christians have been praying for that highway of peace for years now :  http://cj.myfreeforum.org/archive/isaiah-19-highway-of-holiness-holy-highway__o_t__t_327.html
