The coming judgement on America- comment by Rev Rusty Lee Thomas.

Conservatives and the Pro-Life community took a licking this election, primarily because the main enemy was "us". The past 6 years we had a conservative Congress and a President who proclaimed our values, but some how in 6 years no meaningful Pro-Life or conservative legislation passed our Congress. 6 years ago, we all felt relieved that we had gotten rid of Bill Clinton, and who vetoed many pieces of Pro-Life and conservative Legislation, even vetoing two bills that would have ended partial birth abortion. Why did not our Congress pass similar Pro-Life and conservative legislation these past 6 years? It has been reported that Karl Rowe threatened all conservative Republican Congressman into sitting back and not even introducing any meaningful legislation. This is our last chance to do something before the Pro-Abortion Democrats assume power. Congress is in session and the majorities are still at the moment Republican and conservative. Call your Congressman now, and request that he stand up and immediately introduce legislation to: 1. Restrict Abortion 2. Withhold federal funding to any hospital that performs abortions. Call 202-334-2131 and leave a short message. It is about time something conservative happened. ******************************8 Election 2006 Commentary This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men (Daniel 4:17). The results are in and many are numb. The two party system of Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle-Dum are shifting players, but the failures of both parties remain evident. Both refuse to put our nation’s interests ahead of their lust for political power. As a result, the Republicans got a swift kick to their collective teeth, while the Democrats squeezed out a victory with no resounding mandate. The Republicans have feigned for years a Pro-life and Pro-family agenda. This is the carrot they have dangled before the church for years, yet once in power their betrayals are infamous. In twelve years of controlling all three branches of government, precious little has been done to stem the tide of shedding innocent blood or the juggernaut homosexual debacle. In fact, with the Mark Foley scandal, report after report suggests the Republican party is infested with sodomite activists. Meanwhile, the Democrats simply remain true to being “the party of death.” This past election did not take God by surprise nor disturb His throne. His eternal decrees and sovereign rule are intact and marching on. No matter who holds the reigns of power upon earth, it is clear Biblically that God still rules over the kingdoms of men. And at times, He has no problem raising up those who are base and set them in positions of governance according to the counsel of His own will. The word base means dishonorable, improper, ignoble, sordid, corrupt, vile, and immoral. In fact, God judges and restores nations based upon its leadership. When a nation’s sayings and doings are against the Lord, one of the manifestations of His displeasure is that He turns the nation over to weak, inept, wicked rulers. Isaiah 3:12 states, “As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.” Nancy Pelosi will be the next Speaker of the House. She is coming to this high position with her San Francisco abortion and homosexual values in tow. She is just the tip of the iceberg of the Lord’s judgment upon America. She is merely preparing the way for Hillary Clinton as President in 2008. This will be America’s conscience decision to embrace feminism, with all its evil fruit, as our nation’s new model of leadership and reject patriarchy. Though this appears enlightened and progressive, it signals America is falling further and further into God’s curse upon the land of the free and the home of the brave. It will also invite our enemies, who already perceive us as weak with immoral rot, to step up their attacks as women take the helm. Biblically, this is a dishonor and disgrace to our nation and its neutered men. God help us! Immediately after the election, the talking heads went to work. Dick Morris, a slimy opportunist, took the occasion to denounce Christians and accused them of being the source of the Republican defeat. He highly recommended the Republican party distance themselves and severe their union with the “value voters” of the party. Besides seeking to deny Christians civic participation, Mr. Morris painted the Church in a broad stroke as the scapegoat for this year’s election loss. This is reminiscent of Nero’s Rome. The mad tyrant set fire to his own powerbase, fiddled while Rome burned, and then conveniently blamed Christians for the embers. The pundits that follow this interpretation of the election are completely misreading the political tea leaves. The problem was not the Republican party catering to the whims of Christians, it was their taking advantage of and betraying their main base of support for years. As Christians who read and understand their Bibles, the greatest threat to our national security is not the War on Terror, which is in reality a religious war against Islam. We need to state that clearly. No, the greatest threat to our national security are the sins, such as abortion and homosexuality, that have reached the heavens and have brought God’s judgment upon our land. The war in Iraq is not the root of the problem with America, it is a fruit of the problem. America has committed domestic terrorism for 34 years in the wombs of mothers, through the sin and crime of abortion, and we are merely reaping foreign terrorism as a result. There is a direct connection and this land will not know peace until we end the American Holocaust. I have said this a thousand times and will continue to say it until either America repents or is reduced to rubble - there are two specific sins that destroy nations. They are child sacrifice, the shedding of innocent blood, and homosexuality. If our government, church, and culture refuse to deal with these domestic enemies and end this immoral madness, know for a surety that we will be dealing with foreign enemies at home or abroad with no let up in sight. Islam is simply God’s hammer upon our apostate nation that sings “God bless America” with our lips, while denying Him and removing Him from every nook and cranny of our perverted, bloodstained land. Psalm 106:35-48 gives us some Biblical insight to the election results. God’s word states, “But were mingled (God’s people) among the heathen, and learned their works. And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them. Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils, And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood. Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions. Therefore was the wrath of the Lord kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance. And he gave them into the hand of the heathen; and they that hated them ruled over them. Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand. Many times did he deliver them; but they provoked him with their counsel, and were brought low for their iniquity. Nevertheless he regarded their affliction, when he heard their cry: And he remembered for them his covenant, and repented according to the multitude of his mercies. He made them also to be pitied of all those that carried them captives. Save us, O Lord our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto thy holy name, and to triumph in thy praise. Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the Lord.” This passage of Scripture, though difficult to embrace, brings strong admonishment, warning, and hope to Christians today. Israel had fallen into an idolatrous state. They mingled the true worship of Jehovah with pagan idols. Like Jesus warned, the nation drew near with their lips, but their hearts, thoughts, and lifestyle was far from God (Matthew 15:8). The major sign of this spiritual harlotry was the manifestation of child sacrifice and male prostitution in God’s temple (Pastor Ted Haggard anyone?). This provoked God to anger. What was the manifestation of God’s righteous indignation? They that hated God’s people ruled over them. I’ve read numerous reports of how Republican leaders, behind closed doors, mocked Christians after addressing our concerns. Democrats dispense with this facade altogether and are overt in their disdain for God’s people. The church and its leaders refuse to see this truth and make the connection. Thus we refuse to cry, repent, and give God a reas! on to show mercy in the midst of His judgments. How long shall this continue? God only knows! The passage does, however, end with a hope. If God’s people would meet God’s conditions, He would restore the fortunes of His people. The only question that remains is, will we? Isaiah 1:23-27 states, “Thy princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves: every one loveth gifts, and followeth after rewards: they judge not the fatherless, neither doth the cause of the widow come unto them. Therefore saith the Lord, the Lord of hosts, the mighty One of Israel, Ah, I will ease me of mine adversaries, and avenge me of mine enemies: And I will turn my hand upon thee, and purely purge away thy dross, and take away all thy tin: And I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counsellers as at the beginning: afterward thou shalt be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city. Zion shall be redeemed with judgment, and her converts with righteousness.” God?s purposes in this election are manifold. Eventually, He will take vengeance upon His enemies. At the same time, He will use His enemies to purify a people for Himself. Ultimately, He has the power to restore America to be, once again, a city on a hill and a light to the nations. As Christians, our responsibility in the midst of God’s judgment, our enemies disdain, and our own apathy is to repent, cry, and return to God. We must start to do good and trust Him even in the face of persecution, adversity, and blame for America’s wretched state. We do good by hating, resisting, and overcoming evil. We must stand up and speak out and trust God for the results. Whatever brand of Christianity we have been practicing must be seen for what it has been? an enabler of evil that has corrupted our nation, brought God’s wrath upon us, and has endangered our future. I don’t know how many more chances are available to us, church. We must start to get this right immediately. The hour is ! late for America and it appears our sun is beginning to set. Let us pray, work, and believe for a new dawn in Jesus? Holy and Mighty Name! IN KING JESUS' SERVICE, Rev. Rusty Lee Thomas Elijah Ministries P.O. But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed. (Paul’s comment in his letter to the Galatians shows that Peter was not the ‘first pope’ – nor was anyone else.)
