Are more Americans murdered each year by illegal aliens than have died in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan combined? You read that right. According to Rep. Steve King of Iowa: 12 Americans are murdered every day by illegal aliens. Add it up. That's 4,380 per year! That's more than 21,900 murders by illegal aliens since September 11, 2001. And that's not all. According to the same report, 13 people per day are killed by illegal alien drunk drivers. That's an additional 4,745 premature deaths per year. And liberals try to tell you that Iraq is a "quagmire." If that still isn't enough to sicken you, King also reports that eight American children are molested by illegal aliens every day. That's 2,920 innocent children annually whose lives are ruined each year -- by scum who wouldn't be prowling for American kids if the federal government enforced our immigration laws. Yet, according to a recent front page story in the Washington Times, "Congress will approve an immigration bill that will grant citizenship rights to 20 million illegal aliens in the U.S. after Democrats take control next month." We need to grab all 49 Republican senators by their lapels, shake them until their eyeballs rattle, and say through clenched teeth: SENATORS, NO AMNESTY FOR ILLEGALS, PERIOD! Your willingness to fight, to make your voice heard together with millions of other concerned Americans has beaten numerous amnesty proposals this year. And it's apparent that the Congressional leadership did not get the message on November 7. We must ramp up the pressure now. We must tell the incoming Congress in no uncertain terms that Americans will not stand for amnesty for 12 to 20 millions illegal aliens. A Stroll Down Memory Lane Don't forget that Republicans in the Senate were hot to trot on amnesty when they were still in the majority. But they winked and wiggled and waffled when it came to building the 700-mile fence. Instead, they promoted what they called "Comprehensive Immigration Reform" -- code words for "Come on over, the water's fine." When it was obvious that a huge majority of the people wanted that fence -- and wanted it yesterday -- the Senate passed a bill authorizing $1.2 billion to construct it, and Americans heaved a sigh of relief... ... prematurely. Because our lawmakers also gave themselves plenty of loopholes THAT ENSURED THE FENCE WOULD NEVER BE BUILT -- loopholes that would have ensured that the lion's share of the $1.2 billion could be spent on roads, technology and "tactical infrastructure." They told each other that folks like you and me would never know, that we'd sit back in silence while they threw up a few miles of fence and plowed the rest of the $ 1.2 billion into welcome wagons for illegal aliens. But they were wrong! We got wind of this sickening deception, told you that this bill had more loopholes than a fat lady's corset, and within hours faxes in Senate offices began to spit out angry messages from conservatives. And when Senators saw tons of your faxes coming through, they introduced yet another bill -- one with teeth in it -- and it passed by a lopsided majority. My point: Show them your muscle -- show them you know the score -- and they'll listen. Feel sorry for them... give in to their pleas... don't hold their feet to the fire... and amnesty will be the law of the land. The Danger Is Worse Than You May Think. Opposition to illegal immigration isn't just a question of preserving our language, our culture and our sanity. It's also a question of safety -- and the danger is worse than you think. Here are some random figures. The director of research for the Center for Immigration Studies, Steven Camorata, said in 2004: "Roughly 17 percent of the prison population at the federal level are illegal aliens." The U.S. Justice Department has estimated that 270,000 illegal aliens served jail time nationally in 2003. Of those, 108,000 were in California. Some estimates show illegal aliens now make up half of California's prison population, creating a massive criminal subculture that strains state budgets and creates a nightmare for local police forces. In Los Angeles, 95 percent of all outstanding warrants for homicide (which total 1,200 to 1,500) target illegal aliens. Up to two-thirds of all fugitive felony warrants (17,000) are for illegal aliens. And the American people know the danger too. Most Americans believe that illegal aliens are overcrowding our schools and jails, mobbing our health-care facilities and gobbling up welfare benefits. One typical survey, conducted before the election by The Polling Company/Woman Trend, found the following: 66% of likely American voters said the population growth triggered by illegal immigration would "negatively affect the quality of life in America." Hispanics by a ration of 6-1 said the quality of life where they live would be worse rather than better with more immigration. With African-Americans it was 9-1. With Democrats it was 7-1, for Independents 10-1, for Republicans 14-1. Don't let Republican lawmakers get weak-kneed and help liberals grant blanket amnesty. It's simply common sense when you invite people into your home, or into your country, that you know exactly who they are! People Just Want A Better Life. Don't let them tell you ALL illegal aliens are just humble people who come, hat in hand, "just looking for a better life." Obviously that's true for some but for many it's a totally different story! Some of them will tell you to your face: "We're here to take over America. Get out of our way. It belongs to us." They call it "reconquista," claiming we stole the entire Southwest from them at some vague point in the distant past. Remember the 500,000 people who mobbed the streets of Los Angeles, shouting slogans and waving Mexican flags? Remember Augustin Cebada of the Brown Berets -- a wild-eyed, mouth-foaming pro-Amnesty group: "Go back to Boston! Go back to Plymouth Rock, Pilgrims! Get out! We are the future. You are old and tired. Go on. We have beaten you. Leave like beaten rats. You old white people. It is your duty to die... Through love of having children, we are going to take over." And remember Richard Alatorre, member of the Los Angeles City Council, an L.A. establishment figure: "They're afraid we're going to take over the governmental institutions and other institutions. They're right. We will take them over... We are here to stay." Just what we need, isn't it? Another self-serving, self-centered, self-righteous mob, swarming into the streets, waving signs, making non-negotiable demands, telling us how bigoted and hateful we are. Are we going to let the U.S. Senate legitimize over 12 million aliens who are here illegally and invite perhaps 50 million more? Or are we going to stay with this fight until the bitter end? A Few More Things You Didn't Know Meanwhile, events are unfolding that would make it seem as if Mexico had already annexed us. Here are some examples. Recently the U.S. Federal Reserve teamed up with Banco de Mexico to sponsor a program called "Directo a Mexico" -- which will allow U.S. banks to make money transfers through the federal reserve clearing house to the national bank of Mexico. Such a program is open to widespread abuse and can easily be used by illegal aliens who wish to send money back home without being detected and deported. And it can also be used by drug dealers, bank robbers -- and even terrorists! The President recently signed an agreement with Mexico and Canada that, in effect, promises to erase our Southern and Northern borders. A massive super-highway expansion of Interstate 35 is already in progress that runs from Mexico through the U.S. and into Canada. Along those lines, Steve Forbes recently told a Canadian audience that in ten years the three nations will have a common currency. No more dollar. No more nickel, dime or quarter. People in financial circles are already calling it "the Amero." You get it. Like "the Euro." Of course, none of the above is a done deal. It can be stopped. But that means we must be ready and willing to fight for our country until the bitter end.
