Weep for Britain: it is 'gay' month in British schools - it should be 'Gay Shame Month'

Here we are again in February, the month every year when British schools are invited to pollute the minds of children with information about all varieties of perversion.

We knew about it and just could not force ourselves to even write about this disgusting stuff, but it has to be said. Thank goodness February is nearly over.  We wonder how many schools stood against it.  We wonder how many parents even knew it was going on.

It is LGBT (lesbian gay bi-sexual transgender) History Month, when schools all over Britain are supposed to lie to their kids and try to convince them that perversion is OK.  It is not OK.

Here is our challenge: let the parents vote on this!  Let the mothers and fathers decide if they want their offspring subjected to teaching, images, possibly videos, portraying a positive image of perversion.

Some years ago our niece came over with her American Christian college class to Britain for a year to study at a Cambridge college. She told us that one of the first meetings they were invited to attend was to 'explore' their sexuality and find out about homosexuality.  Remember, they were from a Christian college in the Midwest, all of them about 19 or 20, and their Christian parents had no doubt made sacrifices to fund their year at Cambridge. 

She did not attend the meeting, but one of the guys did, and he told them later that he was confused about his sexuality and thought he might be a homosexual.  We don't know what ever became of him.   

When our daughter attended  Cambridge, we drove up to help her move into her room, and there on every girl's door was a notice inviting them to a lesbian event.  They were recruiting!  We went down the hall tearing the notices down and throwing them out. 

Dear parents, this is a wake up call.  Do you know what your children, even very young children, are being taught?  You had better find out before it is too late.  In their young and vulnerable state, they might be recruited.

Here is what the Bible says:

 ‘Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God?  Be not deceived:  neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom ofGod.’ 1 Cor 6:9,10

'If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death.  Their bloodguiltiness is upon them.' Lev 20:13

'But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.' Rev 21:8

  ‘There shall be no whore among the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite among the sons ofIsrael.  Thou shalt not bring the hire of a whore or the price of a dog (homosexual) into the house of the LORD thy God for any vow: for even both these are an abomination unto the LORD thy God.’ Deut 23:17,18

  ‘For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature.  And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense for their error which was meet (just).  And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind…’ Romans 1:26-28

 

‘Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.’ Matthew 7:17

The death penalty for homosexuality was under the Mosaic Law and we are not under that. Thank goodness we are living on this side of Calvary, and we are under the New Covenant in Jesus' blood.  He has been put to death for all our sins, including homosexuality! 

Thank God there is a way out for all who have fallen into the trap of deep sin.  There is a way back to God.  He will forgive  you and love you.  He will accept you and bless you.  He will grant you the great prize of eternal life!  Some homosexuals, even in the early church,  repented and were forgiven.

In 1 Corinthians 6: 9,10, Paul gives a list of sins which condemn people to Hell, and among them is homosexuality.  But then in verse 11, he says:  'And such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.'

Some of the early converts to Christ were homosexuals!  'Such were some of you!'  But when they heard the good news of forgiveness in the gospel, they repented and turned their lives in a new direction. They renounced their sins and turned away from the old lifestyle.  They were spiritually washed, sanctified, justified - made totally and completely  acceptable to God.  They were made 'new creatures,' new creations.  Old things were gone.  They had a new life in Jesus Christ.  He was their Savior, Lord and King. Like all of us, they had no righteousness of their own, but because of their faith in Jesus, they were endowed with His righteousness! 

What a deal!  We shove all our horrible sins on to Him, and He takes our punishment, and then gives us His bright righteousness!  So when God looks at us, He does not see our foul deeds, but He sees the bright and beautiful righteousness of His holy Son, Jesus!  Never was there such another offer anywhere, anytime in the history of the universe.  We give Him our garbage; He gives us an eternity of happiness with Him! 

This can be true for any homosexual today who follows the lead of those 1st Century homosexuals who turned from their sins and trusted in Jesus for their salvation.  The choice is there.  Jesus Christ does not condone 'alternative lifestyles.'  He has already judged them in His Word, the Bible.  They are bad and they lead people to Hell.  They also lead in many cases to deadly diseases which can infect other people as well, and they often lead to an early death.

Here is a good prayer:  'Lord Jesus, I am a sinner. I have done bad things (name them - He already knows them anyway so you have to be completely honest).  I believe You died on the cross as a sacrifice for my sins, and You shed Your blood for me.  You died, were buried and rose again on the third day.  Please forgive my sins.  Please wash me clean. Please make me one of Your people. I put all my trust in You.'
