God's urgent word to all Catholics today...please send this around!

Here are God's urgent words to Catholic people today.  Please forward this, copy it, print it out, get it to as many people as possible.

The Catholic Church says:                                  God says:

If you believe that you are saved by faith in Jesus… you are condemned to hell!

Council ofTrent, Canon 9

‘If you believe in Me, you have eternal life.’ John 6:47

The Pope is the Bishop of Rome

‘ A bishop must be the husband of one wife.’   1 Timothy 3:2, the Bible instruction for choosing bishops.  The Pope is not married and is therefore not eligible to be a bishop of anything.

Every priest is to be called ‘Father’

‘Call no man father’  Matthew 23:9

Every mass is a sacrifice

Only one sacrifice (at Calvary), ‘No more sacrifice’, ‘one sacrifice for sin forever’, ‘no more offering’… Hebrews chapters 7, 9 and 10

You atone for your own sins in purgatory

‘…the blood of Jesus, God’s Son, purifies us from ALL sin.’ 1 John 1:7

‘Saints’ are holy people designated by the church.

Every believer in the Lord Jesus is a saint.  E.g. ‘To the saints inCorinth…’

Mary is to be especially honoured – ‘Blessed is the womb which bore You.’

‘On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God and observe it.’ Luke 11:28 words of Jesus Himself.

Mary is the Mother of God

‘My mother and my brethren are these who hear the word of God and do it.’   Luke 8:21, words of Jesus.

The rosary is a good way to pray

‘When you pray, do not use vain repetitions…’   Matthew 6:7

Peter was the first Pope

‘You are all brothers.’  Matthew 23:8

‘The elders who are among you, I (Peter) exhort, who am also an elder…’1 Peter 5:1

James, not Peter, took the decisions at the firstJerusalemcouncil. Acts 15:19

There is no such office as ‘Pope’.

Priests and nuns must be celibate

‘Forbidding to marry’ is a ‘doctrine of demons’ according toSt. Paul, 1 Timothy 4:1-3

Bishops must be celibate

‘A bishop must be…the husband of one wife…’  1 Tim 3:2 Roman Catholic bishops are not qualified to be bishops! If they do not look after a few sheep (a wife and children), how can they look after God’s flock?

The Pope must be celibate

‘And when Jesus was come into Peter’s house, He saw his wife’s mother (Peter’s mother-in-law)…sick of a fever…’  Matthew 8:14-15. Peter was married.

Statues honour great saints

The Second Commandment forbids honouring any image. Exodus 20:4,5

‘Thou shalt not make any graven images, or any likeness of anything in heaven above or earth beneath…thou shalt not bow down (kneel) thyself to them…’  Statues are idols in God's eyes.

If you are a Catholic, don't take our word for things...check them out in the Bible!  Don't rely on priests and nuns to tell you what's what.  It is all in the Bible, the book the Roman Catholic Church banned for centuries, and which even now Catholics do not read.  Please read.

And if you are a Catholic reading this, you must have looked at the above words.  You will be responsible before God if you reject the truth.  Read it again!  It's not us saying this - it is God!  It is His book, the Bible!  He gave you a brain.  Think!  How can you any longer accept the authority of the Pope when you have just seen that there is no such office as Pope.  That is not the way Jesus set the church up!

You have just seen that bishops are to be family men before they can look after God's people.  The Pope, cardinals, bishops and priests of the Catholic church are not family men.  The Pope is not even eligible to be a bishop!  You now have heard that.  God will expect you to check it out for yourself and to act accordingly.  Our faith is reasonable, rational.  'Let us reason together,' God says in the Old Testament.  He does not want you to blindly follow what some man in clerical garb tells you to do.  He gave you a brain.  Use it!  Seek and you WILL find.  The truth is in the Bible.

The table above is a short version of our Table of Truth (click on it on the Home Page top left) and there is much more in our book 'Cults and Isms:  True or False?' which is in our webshop.

Do we hate Catholics?   Of course not!  We love them enough to tell them the truth.

Now while Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was stirred in him, when he saw the city wholly given to idolatry. (Idol - anything or anyone who is prayed to or given the reverence due to God alone. Idolatry - giving excessive honor to a person or thing and ascribing them with godlike power.)
Acts of the Apostles 17:16
