As a mother I have discovered something few people seem to know today. My baby boy grew up to be a man and my baby girl grew up to be a woman.
When I looked into the science behind this, I found that every baby boy is born with an XY gene and it is the Y that makes him male. Every baby girl is born with an XX gene and this makes her female. Oh.
That’s not too hard, is it? Those genes happen to be in virtually every cell of their bodies! Through and through, from the hair on their heads to the toes on their feet, they are either XY boy or XX girl.*.
King Jesus, who is coming to rule this world with a rod of iron, once said: ‘Haven’t you read that at the beginning the Creator made them male and female…’ (Matthew 19:4)
Our leaders obviously have not read that at all, or maybe forgot it. Or maybe just decided they were going to spit in God’s eye yet again.
But Jesus is so nice, surely He would not mind if a man turned himself into a woman or vice versa? I think the operative word in that sentence is ‘vice’. There is right and wrong, folks, good and bad. All sin is rebellion against God and there are sins that land the sinner in hell fire. For all eternity.
What about gender identity and cross dressing? The Bible declares: 'A woman shall not wear anything that pertains to a man, nor shall a man put on a woman's garment, for all who do so are an abomination to the LORD your God.' (Deuteronomy 22:5)
I have been told that I am old fashioned, so maybe there is a gene for that. Meanwhile, I am appalled to have to report that the government plans 'Relationships Education' in all primary schools in England, with no right of parental withdrawal. You can imagine what kind of 'relationships' they will be pushing.
Yes, our civilization is now at the very bottom of the drain, floundering in the lowest sewer. There really is no lower rung we can climb down to in my opinion.
Jesus warned that tempting one of the children who believed in Him would condemn that person to such a terrible fate that it would be better for him to have a millstone tied around his neck and be thrown into the sea. That would be better than what God will do to him for daring to tempt a child to sin.
And that is exactly what teachers will soon be expected to do – to present ‘gender diversity’ as an option for children. To cause them to focus their clean, innocent little minds on that depravity, something that would never even occur to them in normal circumstances. Would a boy rather be a girl? No problem!
But there is a problem. Surgery and hormone treatment will not change the cells in the body, where the sex of every person is carefully coded by an X or a Y. Our identities are written in our genes.
But surely we have to be tolerant!
The problem is – God is not tolerant at all. He hates sin. He made us male and female. He gives us free choice to obey Him or not, but He is a God of judgement and when the Judge sits and the books are opened, there will be no mercy for those who reject His Son and choose to go their own foolish way.
It is for man to die once (no reincarnation) and then the judgement (Hebrews 9:27).
Real Christians today are practically in a state of shock at the way our countries have gone down the drain, the rapidity of the descent into depravity, the total change in society so that behaviour which was once criminal is now acceptable and that anyone not agreeing with that is a bad guy.
In other words, bad is now good and what was good is now bad. Black is now white and white is black.
So what does the Bible say? ‘Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness…’ (Isaiah 5:20)
Is there any way back? We don’t think so, not for our countries. We have gone too far and will have to suffer the severe consequences.
But there is hope for individuals still, no matter how deep into the swamp they have sunk! Jesus Christ can save to the uttermost!
No matter what you have done, dear friend, Jesus is offering you His hand of mercy now if you will put your faith and trust in Him.
The apostle John wrote this: ‘If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us.
‘If we confess our sins (to God, not to a priest), He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.’ (1John 1:8,9)
Dear friend, won’t you do that right now? I will never forget the night I did that, alone in a room, on my knees, telling Jesus I believed in Him and begging Him to forgive my horrible sins, naming every sin as it came to mind.
God will always answer that prayer; that was the whole point of Jesus’ dying and shedding His holy blood as a sacrifice so that our sins could be forgiven. He wants you to come to Him. He wants to forgive your sins and give you a new life.
He said: ‘…the one who comes to me, I will certainly not cast out.’ (John 6:37)
And also: ‘This is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day.’ (John 6:40)
‘Truly, truly I say to you, he who believes has eternal life.’ John 6:47
And for real (as opposed to phony) Christians, we will have to stand up for Jesus and the truth, even if it means losing our jobs or going to prison. He is, after all, the Son of God, and He said that if you acknowledge Him now when it might be tough, He will acknowledge you before the angels of Heaven. (Luke 12:8)
Are you scared? Well, the King of kings said: ‘My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that have no more that they can do.
‘But I will show you whom you should fear; fear Him who, after He has killed, has power to cast into hell: yes, I say to you, fear Him!’ (Luke 12:4,5)
Is this a ‘hate’ article? No way! If you see someone heading for misery and disaster, it is not hatred to warn them. It is the kindest thing to do. Be warned!
Time to decide where we stand, folks. If Jesus is God (and He is), then follow Him!
* Note: An email correspondent tells me I am wrong about XX and XY. He writes of chromosomal abnormalities, and my goodness, we can all sympathize with anyone born like that. Thank goodness, it is rare. We live in a fallen world, and those of us who accept Jesus have the promise of a day when we will all receive wonderful new bodies with everything spot on. Just about everybody I know is really looking forward to swapping what they have now for that new model body!
