I (Pat) am just praising the Lord today for a sound mind and the ability to see that of course He made all things and of course His great book is true, all of it, every single word. How like mankind that most of us just do not want to admit the truth, but will snatch at anything which purports to be evidence against what the Bible clearly teaches. We not only deny God as the Creator and deny the divine authorship of the Bible, but we have the audacity to then accuse Him, blaming Him for everything we don’t like!
How He can have put up with all this for so long is a wonder, but He tells us why – because He does not wish any to perish, but for all to come to repentance. So He waits and puts up with our impertinence, with being falsely accused, with having His holy name blasphemed in almost every film and TV program. He puts up with all of it…for the moment. But a day is coming, a very bad day for most people, and we are in the lead-up to it. The signs are all around us, as anyone who has looked into Bible prophecy can tell you.
The red warning lights are flashing, the warning sirens are blasting – for those with eyes to see and ears to hear. If you are not a Christian, today is the day you should stop playing around and get on your knees, put your trust in Jesus Christ, and beg for forgiveness and mercy. Today you will receive it. Tomorrow might be just a day too late. As they say in the stock market, timing is everything.
