‘In Islam there is no mercy’  Those sombre words came from the mouth of a muslim.

I hope some muslims will come across this article and consider it, because I have some very good news for them.  There IS mercy available, whatever you may have said or done or thought.  There is abundant mercy and complete forgiveness.  It is possible to have your personal slate wiped clean.  It is even possible to know for certain that God will welcome you into His Heaven when you die.  You can obtain not only forgiveness, but assurance of your salvation.  You can know for sure, deep down in your heart, that you have eternal life – not a terrible eternity burning in Hell.

Dear muslims – all this is on offer for you right now, today.  How can you obtain this wonderful gift of forgiveness and salvation?  The Bible tells us exactly how we can be saved from Hell.  It is so important, that you must put aside all your other ideas and examine if this is true. If it is true (and it is!), it is the most wonderful discovery you will ever make, and it will result in your eternal delight.

Most people just accept the religion they are born into, but you must find out if your religion is true or false.  You must examine the claims of the Lord Jesus Christ, who is said in your Koran to be a prophet.  If He is a prophet, you have to examine what He said and did, and what He offers you.   To do that you must read the gospels, the four accounts of Jesus’ life and mission.  They are in the Bible, in the part called the New Testament.  There you will discover that the Lord Jesus came not to condemn the world (we are all condemned already, because we have ALL sinned), but to suffer and die as a sacrifice for the sins of all who put their trust in Him.

You might sacrifice an animal, but the blood of animals will not atone for your sins.  Their blood is not important.  Our sins are so horrible that only the shedding of blood can atone for them, but animal blood is not good enough.  Only the blood of the Lord Jesus was pure enough to be the sacrifice for sin.  Trusting in His sacrifice, in His atoning blood, is the only thing that will make us acceptable to God.  Jesus’ horrific suffering and death and the shedding of His holy blood on the cross of Calvary was the perfect, all-sufficient sacrifice which covers all people who put their trust in Him.  On the cross, He bore the sins of people like you and me, but we get the benefit of His sacrifice only if we put our faith in Him, the Lord Jesus Christ.  Otherwise, our sins are still on us, and we pay the penalty in Hell for all eternity for rejecting Jesus, the only sacrifice that could save us.

The Koran says God has no son, but Jesus, claimed to be God’s Son, and the Koran says Jesus is a prophet.  You must resolve this conflict.  Either the Koran is true, which makes Jesus a liar, or the Bible is true, and Jesus is the true Son of God, who can bestow eternal life on you.  The Koran and the Bible cannot both be true.   Jesus said:  ‘Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life.’ (This is in the gospel of John, Chapter 6, verse 47).

You cannot be a follower of Jesus Christ and a follower of Mohammed.  You must find the truth.  We urge you to examine our Table of Truth, setting out the claims of the Koran against the claims of the Bible.  Please look.  It is possible to come to a  knowledge of the truth.  God has given you a brain, and He wants you to know the truth.  The best way is to simply read the New Testament.  You can also click on to our Table of Truth: Islam vs. the Bible (on the left on our home page), and there are many other websites which tell the truth about these matters.  May the Lord help you understand and accept His free gift of complete salvation.

And when Jesus had come into Peter's house, He saw his wife's mother lying sick with a fever. (Peter was married and had a mother-in-law. He was not the 'first pope' and he was not celibate.)
