Today, Obama is recruiting Islamics to work in his administration, with many currently being interviewed for jobs. Islamics round the world hailed him as one of their own when he was elected, almost certainly fraudulently - call up stories via our search engine. What a contrast to America's godly leaders of the past. Here's how it used to be......AF American Minute with Bill Federer During the Civil War, after issuing his Emancipation Proclamation, President Abraham Lincoln set a National Day of Humiliation, Fasting and Prayer, MARCH 30, 1863, stating: "It is the duty of nations...to own their dependence upon the overruling power of God, to confess their sins...with assured hope that genuine repentance will lead to mercy... The awful calamity of civil war...may be but a punishment inflicted upon us for our presumptuous sins." Lincoln continued: "We have been the recipients of the choicest bounties of Heaven...We have grown in numbers, wealth and power as no other nation has ever grown.
But we have forgotten God. We have forgotten the gracious Hand which preserved us in peace, and multiplied and enriched and strengthened us; and we have vainly imagined, in the deceitfulness of our hearts, that all these blessings were produced by some superior wisdom and virtue of our own." Lincoln concluded: "Intoxicated with unbroken success, we have become too self-sufficient to feel the necessity of redeeming and preserving grace, too proud to pray to the God that made us!
It behooves us then to humble ourselves before the offended Power, to confess our national sins and to pray for...forgiveness."

I read the New Testament for myself (a Catholic version of the Bible) in England in 1981 and saw that Catholicism was not right, but that salvation was by faith in Christ alone. I knelt down in my bedroom and confessed my sins to the Lord Jesus and asked Him to let me be one of His people. From that day I have belonged to Him. This is copyright, and cannot be offered for sale, but I (Pat) urge our readers to print out a hard copy or copies and give them out free to friends and relatives so that the truth of this gets out far and wide.
