Here’s something the liberal media isn’t telling you about the Arizona gunman. A friend described him as decidedly 'left-wing' as recently as 2007. On YouTube, he flagged as a favorite a video of a person dressed as a terrorist burning the American flag. Only a lunatic or a leftist would do that. His favorite work was a staple of every left-wing bookshelf, the Communist Manifesto. In the Communist Manifesto, there are numerous, frequent calls for violence against the bourgeoisies. ...This information comes from Patriot Post and we print it to redress inbalance in the news coverage, in which the liberals are once again using this shooting to try and ban anything they disagree with. That’s why the tag “liberal” is truly inappropriate – ALAN FRANKLIN. If we take the evidence as presented and not as the media and left would have it presented, the gunman is clearly not of the right. More precisely, the shooter is neither left-wing nor right-wing. He is crazy and evil -- a word not used enough. ... By the way, as an exit thought, the tea party movement won in November. Winners don't go on shooting sprees." --Red State blogger Erick Erickson The next comment is also good and comes from GOPUSA, who provide some news items for our top ticker. Free Speech is as Free Speech Does…By Bobby Eberle Oh, those lovely, sweet-spoken people on the left. They embrace free speech. They love free speech. This is quite evident in what they say. To them, the rules don’t apply, and they can say whatever pops into their minds. But say something the left disagrees with, and they throw a fit. Free speech is not so free, and they look for ways to shut it down. That’s exactly what’s happening in the aftermath of the tragic shootings in Arizona. A crazy person acts, and the left want conservatives to pay for it. One Democrat wants new restrictions on free speech, saying, “Free speech is as free speech does.” Ok, Forrest Gump, let’s take a look at who’s saying what.Investigators have been poring over the background of Jared Loughner, trying to find out what makes this guy tick. Interviews with friends and associates suggest a “disturbed” person. As the Associated Press reports, there’s no evidence Loughner’s motive was political.Steven Cates, who attended an advanced poetry writing class with Loughner at Pima Community College last spring, said he didn’t recall Loughner talking about politics.“He didn’t seem very interested in politics. Whatever politics were brought up in class, he seemed to tune it out,” Cates said. And yet, despite the not one shred of evidence that Loughner was spurred on by any particular element of ideology, the liberals are up in arms. According to The Post and Courier, Democrat Rep. Jim Clyburn said that “the deadly shooting in Arizona should get the country thinking about what’s acceptable to say publicly and when people should keep their mouths shut.” Excuse me, but what was said??? Clyburn then added, “Free speech is as free speech does.” Ok, we can see that this is not going to be an intelligent conversation.Clyburn said he thinks vitriol in public discourse led to a 22-year-old suspect opening fire Saturday at an event Democratic U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords held for her constituents in Tucson, Ariz. Six people were killed and 14 others were injured, including Giffords. The shooting is cause for the country to rethink parameters on free speech, Clyburn said from his office, just blocks from the South Carolina Statehouse. He wants standards put in place to guarantee balanced media coverage with a reinstatement of the Fairness Doctrine, in addition to calling on elected officials and media pundits to use ‘better judgment.’So now we are looking to legislate better judgement? Exactly how does one accomplish such a feat? In addition, if Clyburn wants to eliminate “vitriol” in public discourse, he’s going to have a lot of work on his hands. For a taste of some good, old fashioned, left wing vitriol, just check out Michelle Malkin’s latest column. In it you’ll find images of Sarah Palin with a rifle pointed at her head. Or how about a man’s fist punching Palin in the jaw. (Boy the media could have a field day with that one, right?) Or a piece from the Democratic Underground which shows a picture of Palin with the caption “Sarah Palin: Beauty Queen… or Natural Born Killer?” Couldn’t that stir up a crazy person to act? Just asking. Then there’s former President Bush. Malkin shows a t-shirt that was for sale which reads “Kill Bush.” There is a picture of Bush with his head chopped off, and so on and so on.And let’s not forget our commander in chief who said during a presidential campaign stop in Philadelphia, “If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun. Because from what I understand, folks in Philly like a good brawl.” This from a sitting senator who was about to become president.Common sense cannot be legislated. Intelligence cannot be legislated. Crazy people are crazy. Free speech is as free spech does. Right? Sometimes we just need to take a step back and look at the situation from a clear perspective.]

Tables of Truth
Roman Catholic Church versus the Bible. Written by Pat Franklin, a ‘cradle Catholic’ educated at Catholic schools in America.
I read the New Testament for myself (a Catholic version of the Bible) in England in 1981 and saw that Catholicism was not right, but that salvation was by faith in Christ alone. I knelt down in my bedroom and confessed my sins to the Lord Jesus and asked Him to let me be one of His people. From that day I have belonged to Him. This is copyright, and cannot be offered for sale, but I (Pat) urge our readers to print out a hard copy or copies and give them out free to friends and relatives so that the truth of this gets out far and wide. God bless you in your efforts to inform people. Here we have set out some of the main differences between Christianity and Islam. The two are diametrically opposed, with no common ground of any sort and no possibility of any dialogue ever. Compiled by Pat Franklin. Here is the shortest, simplest Table of Truth I have so far devised to prove that the Catholic Church is a false church, not true Christianity - not the church Jesus set up at all ! An ‘aura’ is a distinctive atmosphere as in an ‘aura of mystery’ ; special quality or air around something or someone. But in paranormal, New Age circles an aura is:

'Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness?' This is a clear warning to Christians not to marry a non-believer.
