Isaac Newton, the greatest scientist who ever lived, said this: 'At the time of the end, a body of men will be raised up who will turn their attention to the prophecies and will insist on their literal interpretation in the midst of much clamor and opposition.'
That quotation was read out today, Feb 27th, 2011, in our church service by one of our leading men.
Isaac Newton was writing about this time, our day,
nearly at the time of the end.
There is now a body of men (including the men of our fellowship)
who have turned their attention to the Bible's prophecies and realized that they ARE to be interpreted literally.
And there is
opposition to this from those for whom Bible prophecy is too 'negative'.
All the Bible prophecies relating to Christ's first coming were fulfilled literally (born of a virgin, born in Bethlehem, of the tribe of Judah, of the line of David - more than 300 prophecies*, with some being duplicated) .
All the prophecies relating to the Lord's coming back (eight times as many as for the first coming)
will also be fulfilled literally.
