Egypt is making life so awful for Christians.
Yet another Christian, this time a lawyer, has been charged and convicted of insulting Islam.
Has any group of people on this earth ever been so quick to take offence at every little thing?
Egypt is doing itself no favors.
God is going to judge it most severely.
Ezekiel 29:12 tells us what He will do:
'I will make the land of Egypt desolate in the midst of the countries that are desolate, and her cities among the cities that are laid waste shall be desolate 40 years; and I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries.'
The Lord will allow them back after 40 years, but their punishment will continue for 1,000 years of the Millennium reign of Jesus Christ.
For then Egypt will be the lowest of the low.
'It shall be the basest of the kingdoms...'
So dear Egyptians, your country has pretty much had it, but you as an individual can still be saved.
You can repent and put your faith in Jesus Christ, the Creator of this earth and the Redeemer, and the coming King.
You can get on board and get with God's program of redemption and salvation.
This may be your last call.
Our advice is:
get a Bible and read the New Testament.
Ask God to help you find the truth.
Ask and it will be given to you.
The Christian faith is sure and certain.
It is provable, rational, reasonable.
God never asks us to take a blind leap of faith.
He gives us ample proof in the Bible, in the many prophecies which have been fulfilled literally over thousands of years.
Only the true God, who is outside time, can make true prophecies over and over and never get anything wrong.
It is time to put your faith in that God, the God of heaven and earth, the one who can save you or throw you into hell.
Your fate does not depend on your good works.
The Bible teaches that no one is good enough, no one.
All have sinned and fallen short.
The only thing which gets us into heaven is faith in the Messiah, Jesus Christ, who became a man so that He, the only perfect person who ever lived, the only sinless person, could die as a blood sacrifice for the sins of all people - all those who put their faith in Him.
If you reject Him, reject His marvellous sacrifice, you condemn yourself to an eternity in hell.
Choose this day...
As for the
convicted Christian lawyer, he is
right on track for heaven, and great will be his reward for the suffering he is going though now, with the trouble Egypt has brought on him.
