The truth about 'alien abductions' - by Pat Franklin
09/11/2015

It is claimed that millions of people say they have been abducted by aliens.  What is going on?  Gary Bates has written a most enlightening article, 'Lifting the Veil on the UFO Phenomenon' in  Creation magazine.

The article tells the story of Joe Jordan, a dedicated UFO researcher who was converted to faith in Christ, and had his eyes well and truly opened.  He found that one alien abduction experience immediately stopped when the victim said: 'Jesus, help me!'

Joe asked other investigators if they had ever encourntered this, and they would only speak 'off the record', but told him that there were many cases of abductions being stopped by people praying, singing hymns or calling on the name of Jesus.  This information had not been made public, because it was 'religious'.

So the truth is what we had long suspected - that the 'aliens' involved are in fact demons.  At the name of Jesus the so-called 'abduction' comes to a screeching halt.

Joe Jordan says he has worked with over 400 people whose 'abduction' episodes were halted in the name of Christ.

To read the full article about Joe Jordan, get Creation magazine, or log on to www.creation.com and buy a subscription to what we believe is the finest magazine this world has to offer.  Every Christian home should have a subscription, and the magazine should be in every church library.  Also, what better gift for someone!  It solves your gift problems forever!  And if you know someone who can't afford it, how about getting them a subscription as well.

Also, Gary Bates has written a book called 'Alien Intrusion', well worth buying, like all the materials which Creation Ministries have spawned.

Unfortunately, few people these days believe the truth of the Bible, so it is easy for Satan to deceive them.  His demons are now portrayed as 'aliens' or 'ETs' from another world.  If there really were 'ETs', why would they disappear at the name of Jesus?  But the demons have no choice; at the name of Jesus, they must go.

If any of our Free Press readers is bothered by any aspect of the occult, the Bible has the solution:  'Resist the devil and he will flee from you.' (James 4:7)  Call on the name of the Lord.  'Deliver us from evil' is part of the Lord's Prayer.  At one stage our daughter was troubled by bad dreams as a young child.  She dreamt of balloons with evil faces.  So I told her:  'If it happens again, you just tell those things:  'Go away in the name of Jesus.' "  That is what she did, and the bad dreams stopped.  Jesus is stronger than Satan and his demons.

And, just in case some of you are wondering what demons are and where they come from - they are evil spirits, the one-third of angels who followed Lucifer when he rebelled against God.  The Lord Jesus revealed in Matthew 25:41 that eternal fire has been prepared for the devil and his fallen angels.  God does not want any of mankind to be lost, but tragically, many will also go into that fire because they, like Lucifer, rebel against God and reject His Son, the Lord Jesus.

Ephesians 6:12 tells us that: 'Our struggle here on earth is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.'  Verse 13 goes on to say: 'Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.'  Read the rest of Chapter 6 to find out what that armor consists of.   The first piece of armor protecting us is the belt of truth.  That is why we started this website - to print the truth.

How can you make sure that you will not end up in that horrible eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels?  Jesus tells us clearly in the gospel of John chapter 3 verse 3:  'Except a man be born again, he cannot enter the kingdom of heaven.'  How do you become born again (born spiritually)?  By accepting the free gift of eternal salvation that Jesus has provided.  He died as a sacrifice, paying the penalty of all the sins of all those who put their faith in Him.

None of us is good enough to get to Heaven.  We have all sinned.  The only sinless person who ever lived was Jesus Christ, and He shed His blood to satisfy eternal justice.  He was our sin-bearer.  He took our sins upon Himself on the cross of Calvary.  Christ died for sinners - you and me.  If you do not accept Him, you are still bearing your own sins.

To benefit from Jesus' great sacrifice, you have to ACCEPT the free gift of salvation by putting your faith and trust in Him.  He said in the gospel of John, chapter 6 verse 47:  'If you believe in me, you HAVE eternal life!'  Wow.  That is all we have to do - just believe in Him!  If you spurn His great gift, you reject Him and put your faith in yourself, securing a place for yourself in the lake of fire.  Jesus also said:  'I am the way (to Heaven), the truth and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me.'

Personally, I don't want to end up in the lake of fire. In 1981 after reading the gospels of Matthew, Mark, and half of Luke, I knew that I was a sinner and deserved to go to Hell.  I couldn't even wait to read the rest of the gospels, but got on my knees and begged Jesus to forgive my sins and be my Savior.  From that day I have belonged to Him, and have full assurance of salvation, an eternity of bliss which I do not deserve, but which Jesus promises to all those who put their faith in Him.

Here is a prayer you could say right now:  'Lord Jesus, I am a sinner and the Bible says you died for sinners.  I accept you today as my personal Savior. Please forgive my sins and make me one of your people.'

Please put aside every doubt and accept Jesus as your own Savior today.

Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father, who is in heaven will enter. Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?' And then I will declare to them, 'I never know you: depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.'
